About the Event

Try a traditional Norwegian ''weft-faced'' weaving technique.


Facilitated by our Guild member Miranda Clarke. Krokbragd weaving is a traditional Norwegian ''weft-facing'' weaving technique that Miranda has fallen in love with.


Spend the day learning the basic methods along with traditional patterns and colours used. Krokbragd can be woven on any loom and lends itself to rugs, blankets and upholstery.


Attendees are encouraged to bring their own looms if appropriate.


Workshop Cost

Full Member: £10 | Non-Member and Friend: £20


Please contact the Guild Workshop Secretary directly if you wish to attend a workshop and are not a member. Please note if a workshop is very popular priority is given to full members.


Bookings are open one month prior to the workshop. Workshops should be paid for to the Guild account as a direct bank transfer. Members can find the bank details on the GGInfo WhatsApp group and payments must be made with reference to the workshop being attended.
