We start our monthly meetings with show and tell of what members have taken off from their looms. This month was a splendid treat, Hugh’s daughter gets married next month and his unique gifts are hand woven stoles using his Gilmore floor loom warped with un-mercerised cotton with a weft of mercerised cotton, and a beautiful huck lace pattern which catches the light. The culmination of our year of natural dyeing lead by Jo, our member who is currently undertaking the Certificate of Achievement.
