How to join the Guild

​​Membership Fees and Benefits

The Guild membership year runs from October to September. Members can pay in full yearly at the beginning of October or per month by direct debit. 

 

Full Guild Membership:

This membership entitles members to attend all guild meetings on both Tuesdays and Saturdays, borrow books and equipment from the Guild and to vote in meetings and attend yearly AGM's and general meetings. Members also have access to all the relevant WhatsApp groups, and workshops are at a discounted price to attend. Tea and coffee at Guild meetings is free to all members.

Friend of Guild Membership:

This membership is for those that cannot attend Guild meetings but wish to continue to support the Guild, remain in
contact with its members and keep up to date with what is going on. Friends will have access to all of the relevant WhatsApp groups and be able to take part in the things that happen through that platform such as the dye-a-long, tour de fleece, spin-a-long etc., as well
as be part of the social interaction that happens on the main Gwent Guild WhatsApp thread.

Monthly = £4.35 | Yearly = £52

Additional Guild meeting attendance = £5

​Monthly workshops

Our monthly workshops are very reasonably priced and are open to full and friend of Guild members. Full members are given priority if workshop places are limited.

Please note: Non Guild members who would like to attend a workshop should contact the Guild Secretary directly.

Community

We have two main What'sApp groups;

GGInfo - To keep members up to date on important information regarding changes/events at the Guild.

Gwent Guild - A community chat to share, ask questions and offer advice.

 

When joining, you automatically opt in to be added to both of these chats, if you wish to 'opt out' please specify on the application below by ticking the choices you do not wish to be added to. 

 

Please bear in mind that if you do opt out to joining the WhatApp groups you may miss important and urgent updates regarding the Guild, meetings and workshops.
