Tapestry Woven Landscapes with Miranda Clarke.

Interpret your favourite view or piece of landscape in a small woven tapestry. Creating a sketch or a memory of a landscape from a photograph you've taken or from a postcard; perhaps from a recent holiday, a favourite place or a wonderful sunset you've seen. Bring along a photograph or postcard to use as inspiration. Learn the basics of tapestry weaving using a frame loom.

WORKSHOP COST: £10 for members and £20 for non-members.

In addition to the fee above there is an added cost of £2 for materials used and £12 for the frame if you would like to keep it. The frame is beautifully made by Michael Williams and the weaving can be left on the frame for display or used for future woven sketches (total cost = £24 for members and £34 for non-members).

Please contact the Guild secretary directly if you wish to attend a workshop and are not a member. Please note if a workshop is very popular priority is given to full members.

Booking is opened one month prior to the workshop. Workshops should be paid for to the Guild account as a direct bank transfer. Members can find the bank details on the GGInfo WhatsApp group.
