British Wool Board visit

The Guild spend a fascinating morning at the Wool Board depot in Brecon learning about the journey that fleeces take from the farmer to eventual sale at the raw wool market in Bradford. Brecon is one of two depots in Wales and there are others in England, but the two in Wales account for huge proportion of all the fleeces they deal with.

We even came away with some great fleeces and the promise of more if we call again.
