Monmouthshire Show, 17th Aug 2025 - An enjoyable day and a welcome change of positioning.

We were once again invited back to attend the Monmouthshire Show to promote the guild and showcase our craft. This year the guild's stall was situated in the livestock area near the entrance, a welcoming change for some of our guild members who have volunteered previously at the show. Positioned nicely amongst the sheep (and two very sedentary pigs) it gave members of the public an understanding of the 'fleece to frock' process as they ambled from the sheep shearing contests across to our marquee to watch us spin our wool into yarn.
